The data necessary for the proper operation of the application is downloaded in a predetermined format. Data is imported via flat files:

Files imported by SMARTSTOCK are divided into two types:

  • Files with master data, imported at the start of using the service, updated as needed, i.e. the appearance of changes. Sample master data: unique product number, product name, unique supplier number, supplier name, unique location number, location name, logistic restrictions.
  • Files with data read in a fixed frequency, e.g. weekly or monthly. Sample data is sales history, current stock levels, goods in transit, etc.

After data is imported into the software, SMARTSTOCK calculates forecasts, and then generates purchase recommendations using Machine Learning algorithms. The projection of inventory over time and the estimated risk of overstock and and lost sales are also analyzed.

The client gains access to the results of the software calculations by logging in to his/her account. SMARTSTOCK offers an intuitive user interface that allows you to easily view the outcome.

Recommendations as well as forecasts can be exported by the client and then imported into the ERP system. Data import into ERP systems is not covered by the subscription service.
